We had someone inquire about our solar-powered Queen Elizabeth which means some of you are actually reading our blogs.  Unfortunately the Queen is tied up until after THE wedding.  But she will be visiting The Green Door as soon as the Happy Couple leaves on their honeymoon.

Is it Over-Alls?  Or Over-Hauls?  Whatever they’re called, we’ve got 6 pairs of ladies’ BIBS searching for a green thumb.  And while you’re here, why check out our summer camp shirts to wear under them.

                                            EASTER
means the Resurrection of Christ.  Easter also means pink bunnies and baskets of brightly coloured eggs.  We’ve got both sides of the Easter coin covered.  Stop by and check our religious “artifacts” and Thumper and his friends from now until Easter.

                                       ISABEL BLOOM
A small statue signed by the artist ©1999 priced at under $30 is looking for a place in your garden this summer.

                                               RAT PACK
A photo homage to THE RAT PACK will look great on the wall of any Rat Pack fan.  Framed and matted in grey, black and silver to enhance the black and white photography, this photo collage is the perfect bit of nostalgia for early Baby Boomers.

THE GREEN DOOR has acquired 3 original Iowa Artist, WENDELL MOHR watercolours.  They are unframed and shrink-wrapped and ready to be added to your original art collection for under 25 dollars each.

We’ve added some “SPRING” bracelets to our ever-growing collection of modern and vintage jewelry.  In bright pinks and other shades of spring, they are waiting patiently to find a home on some dainty wrist.

This is absolutely the perfect time of year to break out those sun glasses you’ve had stored away for the winter.  Oops!  Can’t remember where you put them?  No problem!  The Green Door has an entire rack of sun glasses and reading glasses (and chains to keep you from losing them) including Polo Ralph Lauren, Dolce and Gabanna, Spider Man and Ray Bans.

It’s officially SPRING.  Our own interior decorator, Merridy Reth, has helped all the retailers on our floor freshen up their shops for the season.  It’s a great time to get outdoors and take a walk or a pleasant open-windowed drive to Mt. Vernon’s newest mini-mall.  There’s always something going on at the First Street Community Center.  Check in often.
