Downsizing sale at The Green Door 👍💗😀

Hey you GUYS!  I’ve got an entire dehumidified basement full of clothes I’d like to share with you.  But I can’t until you come in and check out what’s in the shop already.  We’ve just added at least 50 spring/summer suits and sport’s jackets.  And although some designers say that the “sport’s jacket-jeans” look is over, I would beg to disagree.  I’d say it’s just getting started!  When sport’s jackets are as inexpensive as ours (starting at 3.97), you can afford to put two or three in your closet to wear on those chilly spring mornings or those cool summer evenings.  FYI  All our clothes (men’s and women’s) are either laundered or dry cleaned before they are put on the racks.  Tell all your friends. It’s not a secret anymore!

GOLF SEASON will soon be officially upon us.  The Green Door has lots of golf wear to choose from.  Sorry, the only pair of golf shoes (they were brand new) we had went out the door earlier this year.  Someone was REALLY planning ahead.

Occasionally we get knock-off designer bags.  Sometimes we get the real thing.  Trouble is that with the excellent copies floating around, who can tell the difference?  We’ve already gone through two PRADAS, one VUITTON, a couple DOONEY AND BURKES and a couple of COACHES.  Check out this new PRADA for the spring.  And I think we still have one COACH wallet.

The Green Door has added 25 new pairs of women’s spring and summer shoes to our shoe stock.  From heels to flats to flips, The Green Door, should be the first place you look when you’re in that Shoe Shopping Mood.  Don’t be embarrassed to save big!

GUYS!  Here’s a nice Armani jacket.  It’s a 44L.  It’s in excellent shape.  Retail on Armani jackets is astronomical because of their fine construction and quality.  You can have the same fine construction and quality at one/tenth of the cost.  And,  Armani jackets look GREAT with jeans!

Our shop is over-flowing with THINGS; from quirky to practical, from inexpensive to even more inexpensive.  And since there’s no telling what you’re going to come across, come often and stay for as long as you need to. 

Would you have thought that you could buy all occasion GREETING CARDS at The Green Door for only 25cents?  What about talking/singing EASTER BUNNIES?  A Jesus Action Figure?  BETLS to accommodate all waists?  There’s a WALKING LEASH for a tiny Pomeranian.  PICTURE FRAMES.  If you can think of it, we’ve probably got it.  

LADIES!  LADIES!  LADIES!  We are so exhausted from hauling in spring and summer clothing, we’d just as soon that you come in and haul it out.  Resident Merchandiser, Merridy Reth has put together some WINNING spring and summer combinations that you can take with you for under ten dollars.  Here are a few examples!

We have a couple of terrific looking London Fog spring/summer car/rain coats.  One is bright yellow and the other is white.  And again, they both look brand new.  Stop by and check out the sizes before we get too much more rain.

These vintage BALLET PRINTS used to belong to Cindy Monroe.  She told me that vintage prints of Ballet Dancers that include men are hard to find.  She has been collecting ever since her grandson hit the Big Time as Billy Elliott in the Toronto production of BILLY ELLIOTT.  Maybe there’s a little Billy Elliott growing up in your house whose room needs a little encouragement in the form of these vintage prints. 

“The Trapeze Artist” is an oil painting that I find quite intriguing.  I wish I could remember its provenance.  I knew it at one time.  I just gotta start writing these things down.

The smell of tuxedoes and sparkly gowns is in the air as we get closer to Prom Season.  Let The Green Door be your affordable go-to for all your prom needs (or at least most of them).  Starting the week after next The Green Door and Merridy will be putting together some Prom Options for those of you who would rather spend your money on a nice dinner at the Lincoln instead of a tux rental and the purchase of a dress that you will probably only wear once anyway.
