We celebrate our Iowa heritage with Pigs, Cows, Chickens and
Outhouses in the form of cookie jars, oil paintings, butane lighters, mugs, note
cards, slippers, figurines and dancing chickens.
The Green Door has added a mini Barnes and Noble book store right outside our front door. It’s discount, of course. Even the over-sized coffee table books which retail for fifty and sixty dollars sell for 5 or 6 at The Green Door. We even have a great old rocker (which is also for sale) for you to sit and relax in while you look through the books we have to offer. We have everything from fiction to travel books; cookbooks to Nascar; how to make your first wood carving without cutting off your fingers to how to potty train your little one.
We have also just-filled a magazine rack with such titles at W, Harpers Bizarre, Paper, Nest, Iowa, Elle Décor, Men’s Health, and Architectural Digest with many more titles on the way.
At only 50cents apiece, they’re a great deal.
