This is a vintage antique
 folding bridge table 
which probably dates in the 40's. 
The table is in pretty good condition and very sturdy considering its age. 
 I found one on Ebay and with 
shipping it totals $227 (Click here),

(It can also be used as a fireplace guard screen.)
